BLOGHER FOOD!

It's been a while...anyone out there?

I have the privilege of attending the blogher food party tonight at STUBB' S BBQ and guess who will be there?  Yep - PW, I have seen her and the fam twice now and am COMPLETELY nerding out.

Thanks to my FAB friend and bridesmaid Lemon Nerd aka BEEGE I have a ticket.  She's in town at the conference and snatched up a badge for me!  I am having a FAB time showing her the best Austin sights and restaurants.  We were at Easy Tiger Friday along with my fave Icenhauer's.....

 Easy Tiger snacks - House made chex mix/beef jerkey, pretzels & beer cheese and chimichurri butter grilled corn!  Pair it with a Live Oak Hef or a White Rascal yummmmmm!

More to come on the Stubb's Party tonight and our touristy/amazing Austin weekend!

Best Pizza Ever

White Pizza

 

Bought a pre-made Pizza crust/flatbread from Central Market and bushed it with some crushed garlic cloves we had marinating in a few (more than a few) tablespoons of basil olive oil.  Then we added fresh mozzarella, some roasted garlic, spinach, crimini mushrooms and topped it off with some shaved parmesan.  When it was done we added fresh arugula.  TDF (to die for) not to be confused with DTF.

Ohhhhhh TX....

Yes the rumors are true...AFG and I are moving.  To Austin....the OC of Texas.  It will be a bittersweet goodbye as I leave my family and my little beach condo but a fresh start with my love.  NEW job, NEW city (sort of- I grew up in Austin in the late 80's to mid 90's) and NEW apartment together....but (the best part) with OLD friends.  Excited to take this new leap and so so so ready for all the new beginnings that are coming my our way!
